Citra was previously a model. Public started to know her when she successfully became a finalist in modeling contest held by GADIS (one of teenager magazines in Indonesia) at the year of 2007. After that, she went on wider area of entertainment world. Her career as an actress began in 2009, when she starred drama Nikita. Then, she also got roles in some dramas, such as Safa dan Marwah (2009-2010), Ketika Cinta Bertasbih Spesial Ramadhan (2010), Dewa (2011), and Putri Yang Ditukar (2010-2011). Her latest drama is Tukang Bubur Naik Haji the Series, which continues to play up till now. Her most popular role was in Putri yang Ditukar, in which she plays an antagonist role. Many people was hypnotized with her acting skill. In addition, Citra Kirana also plays for several titles of FTV: Janji Cinta, Catatan Mas Boy, and Tarzan Masuk Kota.
